I think the Simpson Model A is under-appreciated by many collectors. It looks like a jumbo version of the Simpson Jr. Same shaped body, same slant coin entry, same cute little claw feet - basically everything the Simpson Jr has, but more of it. And in my experience the Model A is scarcer. I've seen 4 or 5 Jr's to every Model A.
This machine has an old repaint. It is complete and working. It also has a rare version globe with stippling which unfortunately has a small chip. The chip can be seen in the last picture. If the buyer prefers I will swap this chipped globe for a new, non-stippled round globe. Also note in the last picture what looks like a crack in the cast iron body. This is actually just a casting flaw, not a crack.
